Scallion Chicken

  • 6 Corn fed chicken legs/ thighs
  • 2 stems Spring onion
  • 3 slices Ginger


  Sauce and seasoning

  • 3 tb-sp Soy sauce
  • 3 tb-sp Oyster

1. Place the chicken in a pot with water, then bring in to boil

2. Once it boiled, leave it for another 15 mins and DO NOT REMOVE THE COVER

3. Prepare the sauce in a medium bowl, mix well

4. Rinse the chicken with cold water for 2 mins and shred them into finger size

5. Heat up a pan with 1/3 cup oil

6. Add the spring onion and ginger, pan-fry until they are golden brown in colour

7. Remove the spring onion and ginger, pour the oil the bowl and mix with the sauce

8. Pour the sauce to the chicken

9. You may add sprinkle some spring onions and serve
