Mussels in White Wine Sauce

  • 1.5 kg Fresh mussels 
  • 2 t-sp Minced onion
  • 2 t-sp Minced garlic
  • 10g Fresh parsley


  Sauce and seasoning

  • 1 t-sp Butter 
  • ¾ cup White wine

  1. Place the mussels in temperature water with 2 table spoon of salt for 20 mins, rainse them throughly and put aside
  2. Prepare some minced galic, parsley and onion
  3. Heat up a pot with the butter
  4. Stir-fry the onion and garlic in medium heat until you smell the aroma
  5. Add the mussels in and keep stirring for 10 seconds
  6. Pour the white wine into the pot and cover it for another 5 mins
  7. Remove from heat and add the parsley in
  8. Stir throughly and you are ready to serve

Use only fresh mussels, which are tightly closed when you buy them. Serve with slices of fresh crusty bread to soak up the delicious sauce.
