Fish with creamy sweetcorn

  • 2 Large haddock fillet (You may use cod)
  • 2 eggs


  Sauce and seasoning

  • 60g Corn starch
  • 1/2 t-sp Black pepper
  • 1/2 t-sp Salt
  • ½ cup Tempura powder
  • 1 cup Bread crumbs
  • 1 Cream corn

1. Rainse the fish fillet and dry them with a kitchen towel

2. Mix the deep fry sauce with 1 egg, black pepper and salt

3. (Keep these steps and jump to step 8 directly if you buy the fillet from "Fish and Chips") Place the fish in the sauce by making sure they are covered with a thick layer off egg

4. add the tempura powder and combine the flour using chopsticks (Be careful not to overmix the batter; it should be a little lumpy)

5. Sprinkle a layer of bread crumbs on both sides of the fillets

6. Heat up half pot of oil

7. Deep fry the fillets until they turned golden grown

8. Chop the fillet into bite size and place on a serving plate


9. Prepare a saucepan and heat up a table spoon of oil

10. Pour in the creamy sweet corn follow by an egg, keep stiring over medium heat until it boiled

11. Pour the creamy sauce on top of the fish fillets, and you're ready to serve
